Reporting period

The period is chosen with the range control: Today, This Week, This Month or Custom Range. "This Week" is a rolling seven days; only "This Month" is a calendar period. Choosing a custom range converts your dates to exact day boundaries in your company's timezone, so a range is never short or long by a few hours.

The same timezone-correct treatment is used by sales history and the COGS report, so a figure quoted for "this month" means the same thing in all three places.
