Browser support and offline behaviour

Supported browsers, what works on tablets, and what happens when the network drops.

The platform is a web application and runs in a current browser on desktop, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.

It needs a connection

There is no offline mode. Sales are recorded on the server, and a sale that cannot reach the server is not recorded — deliberately, so that nothing is applied for a sale that did not save. The cart is kept so you can complete it once the connection is back.

Screen size

The counter is designed to be resized: the divider between products and cart is draggable, which is what makes a smaller screen workable.
