Claim your web address
Choosing the short address customers type, what you can use in it, and what breaks if you change it later.
Go to Settings → Company Profile → Your Public Page. The box is already filled in with a suggestion made from your trading name — “Casphone Repairs” becomes casphone-repairs — and if another shop has already taken that, the suggestion comes back with a number on the end. Edit it to whatever you like, then press Claim this address.
What you can use
- Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.
- Between 3 and 40 characters.
- It has to start and end with a letter or a number.
- No spaces, no punctuation, no accented characters.
Capitals and stray spaces are tidied up rather than rejected, so typing CasPhone saves as casphone. Customers can type the address in capitals too — it still finds you.
Addresses you cannot have
A list of words is reserved: the parts of the platform's own web address (book, track, docs, admin, api, atand similar), the names of the modules, and the platform's own brand names. If you ask for one, you are told to pick another. Nobody can claim an address another shop is already using.
There is no forwarding. The moment you save a new address, the old one stops working — every receipt, sticker, text message, business card and website link carrying it goes dead. Change it early if you are going to, and treat it as permanent afterwards.
Sharing it
Once claimed, the panel shows the full address with Open page and Copy link next to it. Paste it into your Google Business listing, your social profiles, your email signature, or the wording of your repair status messages.
