Turning it off
Switching the page or repair tracking off, and what happens to links you have already handed out.
Two switches, both in Settings → Company Profile → Your Public Page, both admin only.
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| Page is live | Off: the whole address stops working — landing page, booking page and tracker with it. Visitors see a not-found page. |
| Let customers track a repair | Off: the tracker stops working and its button disappears. The rest of the page carries on as normal. |
Both take effect immediately, and both are reversible — switching the page back on brings the same address back, because your address is kept either way.
Turning the page off does not put up a “temporarily closed” notice. The address returns a plain not-found — the same thing anyone would see for a shop that never claimed an address. That is deliberate: an address that answered differently would tell strangers which shops are real.
If a link has got out
There is nothing secret in the address itself — it is meant to be handed around. If you want a link out of circulation, change your address (see Claim your web address), remembering that every other link you have printed dies with it. To stop bookings specifically, regenerate the booking link in Repairs → Settings → Online Bookings instead.
