POS settings
Payment methods, surcharges, receipt content and counter behaviour.
POS settings open at /suite#pos/settings and cover two areas:
Payments
Which payment methods appear at the counter, their order, whether each is a cash-type method, and any surcharge percentage. A new company starts with three: Cash, Card and EFTPOS.
Gift Card and Store Credit are available as tenders too. Afterpay and Zip Pay exist in the built-in list but ship disabled — enabling one adds the tile to the payment screen, but it records the payment rather than talking to the provider.
You can add your own methods — bank transfer or a payment-plan deposit, for instance — and each reports separately.
Receipts
The store name, footer text and return policy printed on receipts.
A method's surcharge is charged on that method's share of a split payment, not on the whole sale. See Split payments.
