Card terminals and EFTPOS
Pairing a terminal, sending amounts to it, and recovering from a failed transaction.
Two card paths are supported, and which you use depends on the payment method's configuration.
| Path | How it works |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Card details entered into Stripe's hosted element — no terminal hardware |
| Square Terminal | Amount is sent to a paired physical terminal; the customer taps |
| Unlinked method | You take payment on your own terminal and record it |
