Services you offer

The list customers pick from when they say what they need, and what happens when you leave it empty.

Services customers can pick, at Bookings → Settings, is the list shown on the booking form when a customer says what they need. It is a plain list of words — add, rename and remove them to suit whatever you actually book.

The starting list

A new shop starts with a short list aimed at phone repair — screen repair, battery replacement, water damage assessment, diagnostic, and other. It is a starting point rather than a fixture: change it to anything you like, and it is never put back. Once your shop exists, that list is yours.

Leaving the list empty

An empty list is a valid choice, not an unfinished one. With no services set, the booking form skips the "what needs doing?" step entirely and the customer just describes the problem in their own words. Emptying the list is remembered — it is not treated as a shop that never got around to filling it in, and the starting list is not restored.

What the choice does

The chosen service is recorded on the booking and shown in the diary next to the customer's name. If the booking becomes a repair ticket it is carried into the fault description along with whatever the customer typed. It does not price anything and it does not change the length of the appointment — every booking takes the appointment length set in Opening hours and slots.

Removing a service does not change old bookings

A booking already taken keeps the wording it was made with. Removing a service only stops it being offered from that point on.
