Low-stock thresholds
Setting a low-stock threshold per product and finding what has fallen below it.
Every product holds a low-stock threshold per store, plus a minimum quantity. When stock on hand falls to or below the threshold, the product counts as low.
What you get
- A count of how many products are low
- A count of products that have hit zero
- A list of the low ones, with category, store and current quantity
A threshold of zero switches it off
Products with a threshold of zero are excluded from low-stock counting entirely — that is how you opt an item out.
What this does not do
Reaching the threshold flags the product. It does not raise or send an order to a supplier — there is no purchase-order feature. See Suppliers.
