Repair tickets do not hold a deposit
The repairs table has no deposit field. Taking money up front against a repair and having it deducted automatically at pickup is not something the ticket does.
Where deposits do exist
Special orders carry a deposit amount and whether it has been paid, with payments linked to the POS sale that took them. So a part ordered in for a customer can be deposited against; the repair itself cannot. See Special orders.
Taking money up front anyway
You can ring up a payment at the till and settle the balance on collection. That works, but the ticket will not net the two off for you — the counter needs to know what was already taken.
